French, 19th century. Mahogany and ormolu mounted coiffeuse or dressing table in the empire taste having a flip-top that opens to reveal a mirror and white marble surface, single drawer and rising on circular columns resting on a concave plinth.Unmarked. Approx. h. 30", w. 31", d. 21". Provenance: From The Estate of Mrs. Carol Klotz, proprietor of Regalo Antiques, of Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition Report: Non-structural crack to the top; some loss of silvering to mirrored plate; case is stable; wear commensurate with age and use.
