19th C. English sterling silver oval dressing table jewel casket. Marked for George Fox, London. With neoclassical medallion scenes in sterling silver applied throughout featuring floral torchiers, swags, cupids, lions, etc. Terminated on silver paw feet. Measures appx 2 1/2"T x 4 5/8" W x 3 1/2"D. Split to shell inside near hinge as shown. Feet soldered as shown. Retains original key. Lock not working. In good antique condition.
