19th C. Grand Tour Bronze Dancing Faun Figure
Italian, 19th century. After Massimiliano Soldani Benzi (Italian, 1656-1740), cast patinated bronze figure of a faun with two cymbals on a circular plinth and black marble base. Apparently unmarked. Approx. h. 13.5", dia. 65".
Condition Report: Minor non-distracting chips to marble base. Small fill to hole in back of straight leg with small loss to finish around area. Scattered small areas of flaking to finish.
