Jianzhan style, with a golden-brown natural leaf pattern fused into the black glaze of the bowl, in the Song dynasty manner. Apparently unmarked.
Approximate dimensions: 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 in. (5.7 x 10.8 x 10.8 cm.)
Condition
Piece has been examined under blacklight. Few small fleabites to rim and chips to foot. Light crazing to glaze. Stable hairline to side. Scattered surface wear commensurate with age and handling. No apparent repairs.
