19th C. English gilt & mother of pearl painted paper mache tea caddy decorated with flowers and framed by 'mosaic' mother of pearl and gilt scrolls. Unusual shape with 4 turtle shaped feet and 2 lined interior sections. Measures 10.5"L x 9"D x 5.5"H (foot to foot), 9.25"L x 7.5"W x 5.5"H (box).
