19th C Qing Qian Long Gold Carved Window Panel Cabinet
A 19th century Qing Qian Long gold painted heavily carved pierced window panel cabinet (Jin Qi Mu Diao) having two inset carved wood window panel doors depicting palace and imperial processions illustrating various aspects of imperial life. The panels show a high level of detailed carving with dense floral carvings throughout. The skirt is also carved with a dragon chasing flying pearl motif. Each side has painted floral still life panel. Cabinet is constructed of mahogany.
