A large hand painted icon in gesso with gilding, on wood panel. Depicting a saint dressed as soldier, with scene of St. George in the background and depiction of Christ in the top left corner. Gilded ground with polychrome geometric border, Russian inscription towards the top of the image.

Condition Report: Evidence of previous restoration to part of the panel as a result of what appears to be natural splitting in the wood, consistent with age and material. Some minor cracking and surface wear, additional photos available upon request.
