Brass bound rosewood portable apothecary or homoeopathic box or chest having a fitted interior with four large, seven medium and five small glass bottles some with various labels, glass palette; the lower pin locking drawer six small glass bottles,brass scale with various weight, two round shallow glass dishes, two metal tins and a mortar and pestle. Unsigned. Approx. h. 9", w. 10.5", d. 7.5".
Condition Report: Veneer damage to two sides of the lid; key is not present; stoppers on five bottles are stuck; chip and scratches to palette; two bottles with medicine caked inside, some with residue; no apparent chips.
