19th century Scottish Turnbridge ware parquetry inlaid lap / writing desk, top with small hexagonal metal plaque inscribed: "Presented to Miss McLeish From the Members of Muirkirk E.C. Choir 12th Jany 1894," hinged lid and fold-out gilt embossed leather writing surface. 6.5" H x 11.75" W x 8.75" D. Minor chips and losses to veneer, light checking.
