19th C. US State Militia Officer Dress Sword. Straight decorated blade with fuller. Acid etched on both side with floral designs and maker mark "Ames Mfg". Brass hilt with knight pommel and Eagle Clam shell guard. Mother of Pearl grips with twisted wire. Hand decorated brass scabbard.
