19th CENT. PEARL HANDLE SIDE KNIFE
Mid 19th century side knife measuring 8 3/4" with a 4 1/2" blade. There are traces of makers markings on ricasso. Two edge blade has scattered pitting and old evidence of sharpening. Pearl grip is held on with 4 pins. One side has damage at upper pins. Overall a nice looking knife that was a popular back up weapon during the Civil War. Good
