19th Cent. Famille Rose Lidded Jar Lamp

DESCRIPTION: Famille rose lidded porcelain jar converted into a single-socket electric lamp base. Sides of jar are decorated with a peach tree motif against a white background. Lid is decorated with insect, peach, and pomegranate motifs. Electrical components exit lid via the finial, and jar body rests on a wooden base.
