DESCRIPTION: A French Japy Freres mantle clock featuring a dore bronze foundation with detailed patinated knight at top. Further designed with a white enamel dial with black Roman numeral numbering, stamped "Japy Freres Annees, 1823.27, 34394449" at internal pendulum movement. Dated: 1823 Auction label from "Christie's" attached.
