Rare antique 19th century French marine maritime multi-function desktop clock. Clockwork powered lantern revolving on capstan base with gilt chain and anchor, boat's davit, life belt, and ropes. Compass to top, with dual synchronized timepieces, aneroid barometer, and Reaumur's thermometer. Constructed of brass, copper, and electroplated silver. Original beveled glass. Affixed to round black marble base. Includes clock key. Measures 20 in. x 9 in. Good condition with mild surface wear and small chips to rim of marble base. Hill Auction Gallery will not ship.
