19th Cent. Russian Silver "Christo Pancator" Icon
DESCRIPTION: A Russian icon comprised of wood wood with silver repousse mounts and bordering. The center depicts a hand painted imagery of "Christo Pancator", stamped along the side with several hallmarks including "84" (84 Zolotnik) "AK 1845" (Andrei Antonovich "HM" (Kirilico) and with Saint Jorge hallmark.
