19th Century British presentation sabre or Naval design marmeluke sword with etched blade, having VR cypher and presentation text 'Presented to Bennett Burleigh Esquire by his admiring colleague and affectionate friend Sir Edwin Arnold 1899' and marked Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, under Prince of Wales feathers, ivory grip and brass scabbard. Length overall 98cm approx including scabbard.
