19th Century Eastman Kodak No 5 Cartridge Kodak Leather Covered Folding Bellows 5 x 7 Wood Camera. Leather covered wood case; brass lens; retractable leather bellows behind a folding cantilevered 6 x 8 inch metal door; opens to allow the bellows and lens to be extended out from the folding camera on a rail; 2 range finders on either side; screw hole accommodates a tripod on 2 sides; focusing screw dial when the bellows are extended is seen on the left side on the cameras body; on the right are 10 black numerals on a white field, measuring device that lists the distance of the subject to be photographed in feet, from the lens, that ranges from 5 - 100 feet. Marked with 'GEORGE H. KAHN. OPTICIANS & PHOTO SUPPLIES. 201 KEARNEY STREET, COR. SUTTER. San Francisco, Cal. Baldwin & Gleason CO. LD. N.Y.', on the face of the camera is a metal bridge below the lens with the engraved text; Eastman Kodak Co., the brass lens marked with BAUSCH & LOMB OPT. CO. PAT. JAN 6 91', The original leather carrying strap is intact and it is embossed with the text 'EASTMAN KODAK CO. NO 5 CARTRIDGE KODAK ROCHESTER N.Y. U.S.A.'. Circa 1890. {Approximate dimensions: 8 3/4 high x 10 1/8 wide x 3 1/2 inches deep.}. Condition: Non-functional. Back missing. Bellows door button missing but that doors lock can be unlocked, opened, closed and relocked. Bellows completely intact with no tears or damage. Leather loss on the outside of the bellows door._x000B_
