7.75" diameter crown with a 8" rise in rear and 6.75" rise in front. Fur felt construction with red trimmed crown and gold trimmed base. Leather sweatband with integral eight-finger liner and unbound leather visor. Leather-backed brass chin scales. Crest of a grenadier's flaming bomb with three burning castles. Likely mid-19th century. **Fine condition. Fur felt in good condition with only minor imperfections. Some flaking of finish on sweatband with one missing finger.
