19th Century Regency Serpentine Front Mahogany Server
This gorgeous and stunning Regency server in mahogany with serpentine front furniture piece appears to be from the mid 19th century. Brass gallery bar across top has also been fitted with a hand crafted curtain. Wonderful parquetry and marquetry inlay of floral and shell motifs throughout the front and down to the Marlborough style legs. Brass escuchons appear original, lion ring drawer pulls. Dovetail construction. One drawer with bottle compartments, appears old. This piece came from a stunning home when the owner lived at 9720 Amestoy in Northridge, CA (photos of the house when it was sold in 2018)
Condition Report: Appears in very good condition for age. There is one ring stain on the right side top. Condition appears to be original. No breaks, loose joints or repairs.
