19th Century Taoist Shaman’s Ritual Stamp. 19th Century Tribal Taoist Fulu Dao Gong Mien Yao Fu Shenfu Shamans Yen Chop Block Stamp. Rectangular, elongated carved wood; carved with images of 6 horseback riders separated into 6 separate compartments. Red 'David Howard Tribal Arts' sticker. Circa 1870. {Approximate dimensions: 12 3/4 inches long.}. Similar examples in "The Yao: The Mien and Mun Yao in China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand" by Jess Pourret,page 208 illustrations 571 and 569. Condition: Overall wear consistent with tribal use, more recent looking small chip to the edge.
