19th Century US Naval CDV's and Tintypes, Grouping

Nineteenth century United States Naval CDV's and CDV sized tintypes (7). Grouping includes; 1.) Tintype of seated waist-up view of sailor wearing jumper. 2.) Tintype of seated waist-up view of sailor wearing jumper and hat with Benicia on hat tally. USS Benicia was a screw sloop in the United States Navy during the late 19th century. 3.) Tintype of seated waist-up view of a sailor wearing hat with unreadable tally. 4.) CDV of standing full-length view of sailor. Reverse of carte features ink inscription "Louie J. Jacobs, O.S. Apprentice, U.S. Flagship Lancaster, Montevideo, Uruguay, South America". Carte backmarked Spelet, Montevideo. 5.) CDV of seated knees-up view of navy officer with ink inscription on reverse "Truly Yours, A.W. Johnson, Commander, U.S. Navy". Carte backmarked Carneiro & Gaspar, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Carte exhibits chip at top border. 6.) CDV of waist-up view of navy officer with ink inscription on reverse "Your Friend J.K. Patch, March 1876". Carte backmarked Bischoff Y Spencer, Valparaiso. 7.) CDV of seated full-length view of navy officer. Carte backmarked Renouleaut, Montevideo.
