Monti, circa 1870, the seated young man is dressed classically with a hat and crook leaning against the rocky base on which he sits, having impressed marks verso Ceramic and Crystal Palace Art Union Copyright Reserved Copeland,' as well as an impressed signature for sculptor R. Monti at the side, 14"h x 4.75"w x 6"d. Condition: Previous repair to back of base.
