19th century French Breton carved oak buffet, the top section having a breakfront form and stepped-up pediment crowned with carved spindle arches, centering a recessed hutch, over a large cupboard flanked by two smaller cupboards, all rising on two Breton figural columns, the lower section having a breakfront top over a conforming cabinet with three aligned frieze drawers and three doors, the whole ornamented throughout with Breton figures in carved genre scenes, along with turned spindles comprising plate galleries, and rising on a molded plinth terminating to bun feet, 104.75"h x 69"w x 20.5"d.
