19th century garnet & split pearl cluster ring

19th century garnet & split pearl cluster ring. with 15ct gold replacement band.

Replacement band with partial hallmarks for Birmingham.

Ring size S. 3.1gm.

Condition Report:
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Replacement band.
Split pearls with heavy wear to nacre layers.
Split pearls creamy white to creamy yellow body colour. Some glue residue aorund setting.

Garnets medium purplish pink, fairly well saturated, with typical inclusions.
Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

Length of cluster 1.2cm.
