19th C. Alabaster or Marble Burmese Buddha. Acquired by the previous owner in the 1950s in an antique shop in New York. Stands 13" tall, the base is 3.5" x 7 5/8" wide, and 4" deep. Originally it was completely covered with a thick coating of lacquer, and then guided. It has a very sweet face.
