19thC/Earlier Indian Shiva Nataraj- Lord of the Dance- Silver and Bronze

Indian Shiva Nataraj- Lord of the Dance- dancing the cosmic circle of creation and destruction. As with the best of this type, his face embodies equanimity and concentration. This piece is quite rare for several reasons. Silver body and head, base, and possibly ornaments are bronze. 1. The body appears solid-cast out of nearly pure silver(has not been tested) 2. Hands and feet are of such good quality -most of this type have poorly executed hands and feet- this piece is excellent. Figure is 5.5 inches tall, total height is 7 5/8 inches on custom stand.Domestic shipping is included on this item, and international shipping is $50, including packing and insurance.
