19thc Bronze of Bartolomeo Colleoni after Verrocchio

A fine Continental bronze sculpture depicting Bartolomeo Colleoni 19th century, after the original by Andrea del Verrocchio. The male figure dressed in full military armor sits atop a horse with an ornate saddle. The bronze is mounted on an impressive grey marble rectangular stepped plinth. Appears unsigned. Overall measurements on plinth, 21.25" high, 14" wide, 7.5" deep. Weighs 44 pounds.CONDITION NOTE: separation of one bridle (easily repaired), see photos.
