Late 19th Century Patent Model for a Sugar Cane Stalk Cutter. Printed on the cutter - "Address, I.Z. Merriam, Whitewater Wis., Pat. Mar.29. 1892." Blade attachment is 18" L X 7" W with leather strap & attached leather shoe/ boot. With metal stand. Wonderful display piece from a South Carolina museum.
