1¢ CAILLE BASEBALL TRADE STIMULATOR

[ translate ]

C. 1910. Caille Brothers, Detroit MI. A very desirable cast iron trade stimulator from the early 1900s with a baseball theme. Typically these machines had castings that were utilized on other machines as well. This example probably used tiger castings, the ball applied over the lower front casting and the large marquee type upper casting with the baseball reward card above. CONDITION: An older nickel plating that has mellowed with age, and the machine has its original paper reel, original cash box, original rear door and works well. Regardless whether it be a Mills Umpire or the Caille Baseball, these machines are infrequently available to add to one’s collection and this is a nice example. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. Condition: (Good) Dimensions: 18" x 12" x 11"
