1¢ JENNINGS "THE COMET" BALL GUM AND FORTUNE MACHINE

C. 1927. The R.D. Jennings Company, Chicago. A coin-operated 1¢ gumball vending and fortune machine. A cast aluminum front with many designs including Egyptian woman, skulls, cats, parrots, wizard and black cat. CONDITION: A wonderful original with great patina. The fortune cards have slight staining consistent with age. It has an older re-paint. A good solid machine complete with internal globe. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard.
