(2) African Benin bronze pipes. Both pieces mounted on stands. a) intricate detailing on the stem, the base of the pipe is a carving of a woman holding a pipe in one hand and a tool in the other; b) bowl of the pipe is carved with various designs, the stem is simple, carved to look like a tree branch with three birds lining it.
Dimensions are: a) 24 in (61 cm) tall X 6 in (15.3 cm) wide; 29 1/2 in (74.9 cm) X 6 in (15.3 cm) wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: a) shows use; b) shows use and mounting is broken.
