2 Chinese 19 Century Yixing Teapots; the first a melon shape with lobed sides, single hole to base of spout and impressed seal mark to base; the second a "standard" teapot in dark clay, the spout with single hole to base. The first teapot now with a hand carved Chinese hardwood top with hardwood finial, tiny flake to tip of spout, the second with 3 or 4 tiny flakes to inside edge of cover. Length of first teapot from handle to spout 6 3/4 inches (17.1 cm.). Length of second teapot from handle to spout 5 3/8 inches (13.6 cm.).
