2 Chinese Famille Rose Snuff Bottles, 18-19th Century
A lot of two Chinese famille rose snuff bottles dating from the 18th to the 19th century. One snuff bottle features bats, flowers, and fruit on two sides, and an inscription and 2 seals on the other two sides. The other snuff bottle features 4 raised seals among flowers and insects.
Dimensions: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 inch wide; 6.4 cm tall X 2.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The snuff bottle with the raised seals has a chip to the foot. General age wear to both.
Provenance: From a Connecticut gentleman's private collection; assembled over the past 25 years.
