2 Chinese Porcelains; Scholar Tea Tray, Round Box

2 Chinese Porcelains; an enameled Tea Tray with an image of a seated Scholar reading by the light of a Crane shaped candlestick, with inscription, the flat base unglazed; together with a Round porcelain Box and cover enameled with Boys playing around the sides and the cover with a Lady seated in a garden with further boys, the base with seal mark in iron red. Good condition to both with light age related wear to enamels. Height of tray 11 1/8 inches (28.2 cm.) X width 7 3/8 inches (18.7 cm.). Height of round box 4 5/8 inches (11.8 cm.).
