Pair of early 20th century French Empire style burl wood chairs, each having a bronze mount with a lyre flanked by swans, above the inlaid back with a bronze and marquetry cartouche, above the silk upholstered seat with gold bees on a sage ground with nailhead trim, the whole rising on four sabre legs with a bronze mount of a bow at the knees, terminating in bronze paw feet, 36.25"h x 20"w x 18"d, seat 18.5"h.
