a berry spoon, monogrammed "N", l. 7-5/8"; and
a maser butter knife, retailed by Palmer & Bachelder's, Boston, Massachusetts, the blade with engraved foliate spray on a matte ground, monogrammed "K", l. 7-5/8".

Condition Report: **In good used condition with some light scuffs and scrapes consistent with age and use, but no dents, breaks or repairs. Each piece marked with the Gorham "lion-anchor-G" trademark, "Sterling" and "Pat. 70" (or "Patent 1870"). The spoon additionally marked with "88"; the knife with retailer's stamp and an etched star.
