A group of two Hunzinger chairs, mid 19th century. ++ Upholstered Hunzinger chair. Cream upholstery on back, seat, and arms. Pierced handle crest rail and fluted stiles, legs, and stretchers. Incised mark on reverse of leg "HUNZINGER/ NY/ PAT. MARCH 30/ 1869." 32 1/2" x 22" x 19" with 16" seat height. ++ Upholstered Hunzinger walnut veneer folding chair. Green upholstered back, seat, and arms. Incised crest with turned legs. Incised mark on reverse of back rail "HUNZINGER/ NY/ PAT. FEB. 6/ 1866." 37" x 24" x 21" and 15" seat height.
