2 Inkstones, 20th Century

2 Chinese ink stones, both dating from the 20th century. One ink stone features a 5-clawed dragon motif on the top and bottom, it has a 4-character mark on the bottom and comes in a lacquered box; the other ink stone features calligraphy on the top, side and bottom and has a 6-character mark on the bottom, it comes with a fitted wood lid.

Dimensions: Large inkstone and box- 2 3/8 inches tall X 8 3/4 inches wide X 11 1/4 inches deep; 6 cm tall X 22.2 cm wide X 28.6 cm deep. Small inkstone including cover measures 1 1/4 inches tall X 4 3/8 inches wide X 8 inches deep; 3.2 cm tall X 11.1 cm wide X 20.3 cm deep. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Some wood cracks in large inkstone wooden case. Small inkstone is in overall good condition.
