Two Japanese Bizen Ware Figures. Including 1 figure of Quan Yin and 1 figure of a man with a toad with four legs, possibly a depiction of Gama Sennin. The first figure has impressed mark, the other is signed at the base and the interior. The figure of Quan Yin has some chipping at the base, minor wear to other piece. Up to 12" high. ESTIMATE $200-300 The figure of Sennin was purchased at Christie's, #714, sale 7340, in October of 1991.
