Terracotta pair of works, probably depicting the young Cosimo III de Medici (1642-1723), Grand Duke of Tuscany and his wife, Marguerite Louise d'Orléans (1645-1721).

Formerly Villa Cappiardi in Lastra a Signa.
A thermoluminescence dating carried out in 2018 by Arcadia in Milan, dated the gentleman's bust as being from the 18th century. However, on the basis of stylistic elements, we believe that the bust was made significantly later.
