2 Merriman & Clark TN Ladles plus Coin Silver Spectacles & Spoon

1st item: Large Memphis Tennessee coin silver soup or punch ladle, downturned fiddle handle marked MERRIMAN & CLARK in rectangle for James E. Merriman and Frederick H. Clark during their short-lived partnership in Memphis 1841-47, along with eagle psuedohallmark, and monogrammed WSR. 11 7/8" L. 5.22 troy ounces. 2nd item: Coin silver condiment or long handled salt ladle, fiddle handle marked MERRIMAN & CLARK in rectangle and monogrammed WSR, 5 1/2"L. 3rd item: Coin silver teaspoon with long oval end handle having an illegible worn monogram and marked J.__ in serrated rectangle (possibly J. Pyle, working Gallatin c. 1830-1860) or J.W.P. (unknown). 5 1/4"L. 4th item: Coin silver sliding spectacles or eyeglasses marked MCALLISTER PHILA. 4 1/2"W. Total weighable silver: 5.98 oz troy.

Condition Report: Large ladle is in excellent condition, including mark. Small ladle - very good condition. Mark on teaspoon is partially illegible and monogram is very worn; some denting and scratching to bowl. Spectacles - part of one arm is missing. Silver is tarnished and we have not attempted to polish it.
