(2 Pc) Edward McCartan (1879-1947) Boy And Girl

DESCRIPTION: Pair of matching, two-toned, nude bronze sculptures, one of a boy and one of a girl, Edward McCartan. Boy supports a vase on his left shoulder with his right arm, outstretches his left arm, and looks to his right; girl bears a vase on her right shoulder with both hands and looks to her left. Each child stands atop a sphere on a bronze platform with a flower petal design; platform has a marble base. Hair, vase, and base are of a different tone than the rest of the children. Base of each piece is signed "E.M. CARTAN" and marked "A.S.B."; boy is marked 18/50 and girl is marked 6/50. Dimensions are as follows:

Boy - H: 59.25" W: 18.5" L: 27.5"
Girl - H: 59.5" W: 18.5" L: 20"
