(2 Pc) Late 19th Century Chinese Handmade Enameled

DESCRIPTION: Pair of hand-made, enameled, gilded, copper jardiniers the side of each of which depicts a scene of four bulls in a hilly countryside in relief. Lips' sides are decorated with a Chinese key pattern, and their tops are decorated with a floral motif in relief. Inside of jardiniers, undersides of lips, and undersides of pieces are enameled in blue. Each piece has three feet fashioned like half a horned face from the nose up.
