Two (2) coin silver julep cups, both marked POINDEXTER in rectangles for William A. Poindexter, active Lexington, Kentucky, 1818-1859, including one (1) extra large cup (4 1/4" H), and one (1) of standard size (3 1/2" H). Both with reeded rims; standard sized cup is monogrammed MEM or MEH. Combined weight: 11.51 oz troy. Note: more Kentucky coin silver will be offered on Day 2 of this auction.

Condition Report: Larger cup has shallow dents measuring up to 3/4" and some slight denting to foot ring; both overall very good condition with minimal scratching. Old Sotheby's sticker adhered to exterior of monogrammed cup.
