1st item: Jean Francois Millet (French, 1814-1875), "The Sower," circa 1879, lithograph on thin laid paper after the original 1851 painting, depicting a young man sowing in a field while another man plows in the background behind a team of horses. Signed in the plate. Matted and framed under glass. Sheet: 8 78" H x 7" W. Sight: 8" H x 6 1/2" W. Framed: 14" H x 13 1/2" W. Ref. Robert J. Wickenden, THE ART AND ETCHINGS OF JEAN-FRANCOIS MILLET, p. 18. 2nd item: After Lucas Huygensz van Leyden (Dutch, c. 1490-1533), "St. Paul," etching on laid paper. Date unknown; originally printed 1510. The image depicts St. Paul standing and holding the Bible and a sword, with light radiating from his head. Signed with monogram in plate; matted and framed under glass in a narrow molded wood frame. Sheet: 4 7/8" H x 3" W. Framed: 11" H x 8 1/2" W.

Condition Report: 1st item: toning throughout; 1/4" tear at right edge. Some faint wrinkling. Hinge mounted. 2nd item: Adhered to cardstock; cardstock hinge mounted to mat. Pencil inscriptions and mark lower left of cardstock. Acid burn and foxing, light fading.
