2 ROOKWOOD ART DECO 1920s VASE & BOWL

1- Rookwood Bowl, in the Art Deco style, a low bowl modelled in the shape of a five petaled floral blossom, with deep rounded sides and a broad outlining flat rim, raised on five block feet, interior with green high gloss glaze, the sides with a black gloss, an incised Rookwood mark, date mark XXIV for 1924, shape #2805 height 3 1/4 inches; diameter 8 inches. 2- Rookwood Modeled Glazed Vase, of Chinese gu form with a jadeite green glaze, with two sets of turned banding mid-body, a flaring circular, lighter green veined border above a recessed 1/2 inch foot, the interior with glossy yellow glazed surface, date mark for 1923, shape #2500C 12" inch. Weight combined 4 pds 13 oz.
