2 SAMSON EXPORT STYLE ARMORIAL PORCELAIN PIECES

Edme Samson et Cie (French), second half 19th century. Export style and famille rose porcelain pieces comprising of one chocolate pot with the Howard coat of arms supported by a lion and unicorn with Latin motto "Sola Virtus Invicta" and one lidded urn having partial coat of arms and raised enamel decoration. Both having pseudo Chinese marks to underside. Approx. h. 7.375" (pot), h. 6.75" (urn).
Condition Report: Repair to lid with small chips to rim of lid and fill on rim of chocolate pot, small chips to flower finial on urn, and minor glazing / firing imperfections.
