Two Volumes by Pausanias. Entitled "Pausaniae Decem regionum veteris Graeciae descriptio, totidem libris comprehensa, Romulo Amasaeo interprete. Tomus primus secundus. Huic rerum memorabilium accessit copiosissimus Index 1559". Both with vellum covers, 624 and 606 pages respectively (plus indexes). Condition commensurate with age; some rippling and cracking to the covers, discoloration to pages and some with spotting, some losses to pages, tears to endpapers, both with (two) pervious owners names written on the endpapers, bumped corners. Each is approximately 3 1/2" x 5" x 1 1/2" thick. ESTIMATE $200-400
