Provenance: Countess Athénaïs de Rochechouart de Mortemart
Condition report:
Charger 1:
Some lacks and wearing to the enamels and the gilding
Presence of some surface scratches
Presence of some firing imperfections
Presence of a small defect to the glaze, to the brown border, of approx. 0,6 cm long. The colouration did not fix during firing as there is no apparent shallowness to the touch
Presence of some chips to the footrim
The application of the yellow glaze was so thick that during firing its bubbles burst, giving a porous appearance
Charger 2:
Some wearing to the enamels
Presence of some surface scratches
Presence of some firing imperfections
Presence of some chips to the footrim, the largest one to the inside of the footrim, of approx. 4 cm wide
The purple colour seems to have been more fragile. The fragility of this glaze has caused various areas to be missing entirely
Presence of a linear imperfection
Some chips to the enamels, especially around the leaves
