Ottoman Turkish embroidered panel with tughra, circa 1900, worked in cotton and metalic threads on linen, centering the tughra, or monogram of the Sultan flanked by palmettes, butterflies, and crescent moons, bordered in Ottoman Turkish calligraphy, the whole edged in metalic passementerie, 43"l x 16.5"w (3' 9" x 1' 5"), together with an early 20th century hand woven Aubusson fragment, depicting scrollwork, executed in salmon, taupe, and olive wool backed in cotton, 33"l x 22"w (2' 9" x 1' 10").
